Hogfish Telemetry in Dry Tortugas National Park
FWRI scientists have partnered with Dry Tortugas National Park to study hogfish in a no-take marine reserve of the Park that has been protected since 2007.
Tracking the movement of hogfish through the use of acoustic telemetry, FWRI scientists hope to better understand how home ranges, habitat use, spawning and foraging patterns of this species, change over time.
