-- Detailed Description --
We accompanied the Book on Demand production for hardcover books at a professional producer and show it in this short film. If you have ever wondered how a professional book on demand production for hardcover books works and which products and machines are used in it, you can see it here. The particular challenge in the book on demand process is to produce hardcover books from edition 1 with constantly changing formats.
With the hardcover line from Schmedt, books can be produced from 1 to 300 copies per hour. All required information is transferred to the machines by means of a barcode. Manual setup is therefore not necessary and a real single edition can be produced economically. Further information can be found at https://www.schmedt.de/en/machines/so...
