WANNA DANCE | A Short Film
This film was created as an entry for the Aputure Light This Location international short film competition, with the following rules:
Must be shot all in one location
Must use lighting in a creative way to tell the story
Must include the word "accent" somehow
Must be 5 minutes long.
Synopsis (SPOILER ALERT): This film is about a girl (Sarah) who lost her husband (Omar) and was using an AI Application called ‘Experiences’ which let her see her husband in reality. When she and her husband were dancing on their wedding song she fells and the “Experience Application” got paused. She founds about the reality that her husband is dead and she was using this application. She struggles to remove the device but eventually she painfully removes the device and got unconscious. When she wakes up she find her friend (Roma) in the room. Roma try to convince her that not to use the application again. In the end we see on the monitor that a next phase is started and its Roma who is also an AI generated person but Sarah doesnt know that she thinks she is no longer using the application but the AI device is still attached to her.
