Second initialization method
NOTE: If initializing both sunroof motors, initialize the front sliding glass motor before initializing the sunshade. The new front sliding glass motor will only move to the vent position and must be initialized
Front Sliding Glass Panel
1. NOTE: The driver's front door must be open throughout the procedure.
Open the driver's front door. (This is optional)
2. Turn the ignition to the ON position.
3. NOTE: Within 5 seconds, perform the following:
A. Turn the ignition OFF, then back to the ON position.
B. Press the sliding glass close switch for less than one second and release.
C. NOTE. When the sliding glass panel close switch is pressed and held, the switch should click within 3 seconds. An audible click indicates that the motor has accepted the initialization request. If there is no audible click, the procedure must be repeated from step 1. Press and hold the sliding glass panel close switch until the glass moves to the fully open position and back to the fully closed position (this may take up to 20 seconds before it starts). 4. Release the switch and verify successful initialization by performing one-touch open, one-touch close, and one-touch vent operations. 1. Initializing the Sunshade (Sunshade). 1. C. NOTE: When the CLOSE switch on the screen is pressed and held, an audible click should be heard from the switch within 3 seconds. An audible click indicates that the engine is running
and the initialization request has been accepted. If there is no audible click, the procedure must be repeated from step 1.
Press and hold the sunshade control switch until the sunshade moves to the fully open position, then back to the fully closed position (this may take up to 20
seconds to start).
5. Release the switch and confirm successful initialization by opening with one touch.
NOTE. When initializing both sunroof panel motors, initialize the front sliding glass motor before initializing the visor (sun visor). The new front sliding glass panel motor will only move to the vent position and needs to be initialized
