„I was at home the night of the terrorist attack in Vienna. My immediate reaction was far from what I think people would call normal: I couldn't understand why everyone was so freaked out. I actually got a little annoyed at first with what felt like a complete overreaction. I know how fucked up that sounds. It took me a few hours to realise how much my upbringing in Northern Ireland had affected my own reaction to atrocities. I realised I had something to share and that what people needed most of all at that time was to not shut down, to not harden their hearts.“
