Making sense of that Resident Evil dance scene
The Netflix Resident Evil series went viral in a way the creators and producers did not intend. Which is not to say that Netflix is not always looking to push viral content, just that the viral impact of the Evelyn dance scene was not at the sort of viral content Netflix can jump on.
This is the sort of viral content which can damage a show's reputation, and it did so largely through TikTok, a platform Netflix does not currently understand but no doubt will be keeping a close eye on.
