WMT is a computerized memory test that measurds verbal and nonverbal memory.
Basically The user is shown multiple digits of numbers or direct words and asked to remember them.
Then, the numbers or words are taken off the screen and the user is asked to type the numbers they remembered in.
This test will become more difficult as more digits are added to the sequence, and digits are continuously added until the user starts forgetting the digits.
Now if talking about just numbers, research has shown that, the magic number most people remember is “7 plus or minus 2” items. This means an average short term memory can hold 5 to 9 digits.
