Maintain & Improve A Lamium Patch (4K) - August 6, 2024
A nice ground cover that blooms, spread but non invasive. It prefers shade to have nice silver/green variegation.
Its location has changed from part shade to full sun because a tree died. Quite stressed in the summer sun & heat. Adding Campanula to the patch to see which one survives better. Much prefer to have the both co-exist.
Last year, I've added Ajuga, Kinnikkinnick and Sedum. The Ajuga has taken over one side, The Kinnikkinnick is still around but not significant. Reserving the space between Lamium and lawn for Sedum this year.
Will see how things will go.
