AK Admiral: The Soviet Electric Guitar That Was Meant to Rule the Seas
In today's episode, we're joined by a rather special guest (wink) — the 12-string electric guitar AK Admiral, crafted at the Lunacharsky Factory in Leningrad. Designed by the visionary luthier Alexander Alekseevich Krasnoshchekov, this instrument was destined to become the crown jewel of the entire Soviet guitar industry. Alas, history had other plans.

A Note for New Viewers
If you've just discovered this channel through the guitar content: hello! 👋
I'm a guitar collector (not a performing musician), and I occasionally build instruments myself. So please, no need to gently point out that my playing isn't concert-ready — I know, you hear it, and I know that you know that I know. 😄

(Yes, the stories here aren't always "reviews" in the traditional sense — think of them as short tales about the instruments that crossed my path.)
