Defil Jola 2 - an electric guitar from friendly Poland
A story about the Defil Jola-2 electric guitar, produced in the second half of the 1970s in socialist Poland, and therefore friendly and fraternal. It's not the most successful guitar product, either in general or specifically from the Polish state-owned Defil concern. Nevertheless, the guitar is of interest both from an engineering and historical perspective. And it's certainly worthwhile as a collector's item, even a museum piece.
For those new to the channel, especially in the context of guitars, I'm a guitar collector (not a musician) and occasionally build my own, so there's no need for me to point out that I play poorly. I know it, you hear it, and I know you hear it.
A general overview of my collection is available at • Коллекция гитар. Часть 1. Общий обзор / Gu... (it's grown even larger by now). In addition to other topics covered on the channel, I publish short stories (not exactly reviews) about the pieces in this collection.
