Heterosis NFT Breeding: A walk through the process

❶ Breeding itself is super simple. Log in to OG.Art with your wallet. Don’t forget to add your email to your OG.Art profile to get breeding notifications! Then choose any flower in the collection as the second “parent”, and input its unique ID number and breed!
We have 2 NFT breeding options: the first, full on-chain breeding, and the second, a hybrid approach that reduces gas fees.
❷ Now, sit tight and wait for your new flower preview to be generated - when it’s ready, we’ll email it. Then, you can decide whether to keep it, pay all the fees, and replace your current NFT, or discard it.
❸ Initially, Heterosis flowers have only basic traits, but through breeding, #collectors can discover new rules + combinations that activate mutations in these NFTs, creating new species + rare characteristics. So be strategic!
❹ 18 partner NFT collections also give Heterosis flowers unique traits, including Meebits, CryptoKitties, FlowerGirlsNFT, and Outland. So, if an owner has one of these partner NFTs in their crypto wallet, unique features can appear on hybridized flowers!
❺ What’s even better is that owners are exempt from the ecosystem fee on their first breed post-mint. So, if you hybridize several #NFTs from your own Heterosis collection, you won't pay the ecosystem OR the owner’s fee!
