Title: PeeringDB update
Presenter: Arnold Nipper, PeeringDB

Abstract: PeeringDB is a freely available, user-maintained, database of networks and carriers, and the go-to location for interconnection data. The database facilitates the global interconnection of networks at Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), data centers, and other interconnection facilities, and is the first stop in making interconnection decisions. We haven't been personally at SwiNOG for a while. Much has happened at PeeringDB since. After a short introduction on PeeringDB to get the newbies up to speed as well, we will cover the most important changes at PeeringDB since 2019.

Swiss Network Operators Group The Swiss Network Operators Group (SwiNOG) is an informal group of people who are concerned with engineering and operation of the Swiss Internet. SwiNOG (Swiss Network Operators Group) is a community for (not only) Swiss service providers and IT specialists since 24th of february 2000. SwiNOG is analogue to NANOG und DENOG. SwiNOG was founded as the very first European NOG. SwiNOG exists to enhance the quality of Internet services available in Switzerland. It does this by fostering the free exchange of technical ideas and information between different companies and organisations.
