Renowned choreographer Isabelle Beernaert manages to touch the hearts of the public with her choreographies. But why is it that something affects you or not? Why do your hairs stand upright when you hear a certain piece of music? And why does one dish taste so much better than another? Isabelle believes that this comes from the spirit with which something is created. The passion, the love, the intention behind it, the call of your heart. This theme is central to the show LAAT ME.
Dance is the language of the soul. It makes no noise, it is quiet, but at the same time it says so much. You are in the theater, it is slowly getting dark ... The music starts, the lights come on and a dancer moves in the room like a brush on a painting, like a pen on a white sheet of paper. The dancer takes you into the story. What do you have to do for this? Sitting still, watching and listening. Nothing else. And then you see it, you feel it, you experience it. The vibrations, the energy, the indescribable ... the whispers of the soul.

While her latest productions were often characterized by international influences, this time Isabelle brings her choreographies closer to home than ever.
