Deepthi Jeevanji, a 21-year-old from Andhra Pradesh, overcame immense challenges to win gold in the 400m T20 race at the World Athletics Para Championship in Kobe, Japan. Born with intellectual disabilities and taunted by others, her athletic prowess was discovered by her school PE teacher. Despite financial hardships, she trained under SAI coach N Ramesh, with support from various organizations. Deepthi broke the world record with a time of 55.07 seconds, making her country proud.
