In this video, I design and construct a manica utilizing a combination bronze sheet metal and leather. A manica is a piece of armor that protects the gladiator's sword arm. Lightness and mobility are important design factors. As per usual, I deviate from historical accuracy in order to incorporate some cool sculptural aspects
