Here's a quick demonstration of Walksnail Goggles L head tracking via PPM (instead of using the wireless PTZ mode). For a brief background, Headtracking via PTZ mode requires a Walksnail Moonlight vtx or a Walksnail Avatar V2 vtx (need to plug the uart lines of the gimbal and moonlight /v2 vtx). If using a different Walksnail vtx such as a V1 vtx, headtracking via PTZ won't work. The solution is to use PPM Mode instead. In this configuration, the goggles L will send head movements to the radio via trainer cable, and the radio will forward these signals to the gimbal (or a servo based pan tilt mechanism) via pwm lines. You need to connect the PWM1 to PWM4 lines of the gimbal to any spare output/PWM pin on your flight controller or receiver. Then you need to configure the radio controller to have the trainer enabled (via toggle switch) and set the trainer channels accordingly. I used PWM6 and 7 for the trainer channels to control the pan and tilt respectively.
