"The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway" Tribute
Some very talented friends of mine and I got together to play this prog-rock classic (Genesis, 1974) at a birthday party for the guitar player, Emil. It went so well, I was determined to get us into my studio to shoot a video. We finally found three hours one afternoon to get it done -- putting up as many cameras as we could get our hands on. This was my first attempt to record a live band and shoot a multi-camera video at the same time.
Production notes: Take four of four. The chorus and outro vocals were "sweetened" by layering in phrases taken from elsewhere in the take. No punches or corrections -- these guys played it like this!
