On June 4, 2024, Mexico City–based artist Noé Martínez stages an evening performance at the MCA in conjunction with the exhibition Trade Windings: De-Lineating the American Tropics. Through his multi-faceted practice, Martínez uncovers the history of forced displacement and migration through research and personal narrative.
The audience is invited to walk in the space during the performance. Limited seating is available.
Copies of the poetry spoken as part of the performance by Martínez are available in Spanish and English.
