How to Replace the Electronic Interface on Sleipner SX35 External Thrusters
The electronic interface contains the Sleipner's patented intelligent power control that provides a minimal delay between drive directions to reduce wear of the mechanical parts while monitoring solenoid functions. In the case of a solenoid lock-in, the thruster will automatically stop without extra user action or controlling the main switch.
The video shows how to replace this unit on standard On/off versions of the Sleipner SX35 external thruster.
Note that the speed controlled version (SXP35) of this thruster does not contain this unit.
