My Brother’s Place, which serves as a food pantry in the City of Wellston, will benefit from state funding that will allow the organization to address repairs to the building to make it safe, accessible, and sustainable for many years to come.
Earlier this year, the Ohio House of Representatives as well as the Ohio Senate each passed House Bill 2, which Ohio Governor Mike DeWine later signed off on as well. The bill included the traditional capital budget allocations as well as the One Time Strategic Community Investment Fund (OTSCIF) allocations. It was in these OTSCIF allocations, that My Brother’s Place was awarded a total of $200,000 for much needed renovations.
Tune in to learn more about the renovations, which had begun recently.
