This video gives an update on the recent Honourable Apex Court Judgement bout the higher pension. The EPFO review petition was allowed and the EPS Amendment Scheme 2014 was held to be legal and valid.
However, the Apex Court gave a remedy for employees who were members prior to 01.09.2014 and contributing at higher wages/for more than the ceiling to exercise the option as per the earlier paragraph 11(3) within 4 months from the date of judgment.
