Storytelling? Storyliving! | IBC 2017 Amsterdam
At the yearly IBC 2017 exhibition in Amsterdam, I visited the Future Hall, where Generic Robotics showed their VR-feeling technology. They work together with a university in Reading for medical students to simulate surgery, so students can gain experience before they have to in real life. Only this time, it was just a simple playable game. It was amazing. Wood felt like wood. The glass of wine felt like glass. I could feel the textures. Truly amazing. This kind of media doesn't only tell a story. It let you live the story.
