omg this last episode gave me a mixed of feelings, because as much as i always loved this human storyline.. And i think it fits both Damon and Elena, i think the writers started this cure storyline so suddenly and fast that it doesn't seem honest to the characters..At least not anymore, i think this would fit Damon and Elena in season 4, where Elena was struggling to be a vampire and we knew from season 2 that Damon also missed being human.
But the characters evolved since that time and both of them came to terms with being a vampire and Elena didn't show any sign since then that she wanted to be human again.
Now all of a sudden from one episode to the other, and exactly when the cure appeared again, she now misses being human again? It's rushed, doesn't fit with the characters' growth after these last two seasons and it's badly written to be honest. I would love to see this storyline if the writers had shown us a bit here and there in these last two seasons that Elena still missed being human. And if the storyline had a slower and more developed evolution. Not like this.. in 2 or 3 episodes.. just to get rid of Elena..
So yeah, mixed feelings because as much as i like this storyline it looks really forced right now.
