Virtual education is also called "online education." It refers to the development of training programs that use cyberspace as the teaching and learning environment. It is where students learn primarily online or through the internet. In this sense, it exists as an educational format where teachers and students can interact without having to be in person. That is, without a face-to-face meeting between the teacher and the student.
From this perspective, virtual education is an action that seeks to foster training spaces, supported by ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies), as it makes use of the tools offered by the internet and new technologies to provide appropriate and high-quality educational environments.
