Hologram Microcosm: Hold Sampler with Elektron Model:Cycles
In this one, we fed two melodic tracks from the Elektron Model:Cycles into Microcosm and then engaged the Hold Sampler after a few measures. When bringing in the rhythm tracks, we muted these two melodic tracks and used the Arp B preset to fill in that space. Because it was synced to the Cycles’ clock, moving the Time knob around different subdivisions of the tempo made it interactive and dynamic while staying in time.
