AS2890.1 identifies four main criteria in the design of “type 2’ speed humps. 1) Height: Must be between 25mm & 75mm. 2) Cross section: Must be flat on top. (Not round) 3) Ramp angle: Must have a ramp angle 2:1 4) Markings: Must have alternating parallel yellow or white stripes 250mm wide.
