Scrantis - A Hybrid Mechanical insect - turn table
🎥 Presenting the Turntable of Scrantis! 🎥
I'm excited to share a detailed turntable of Scrantis, my hybrid mechanical insect designed for the 3D Design 2 module at university. This version includes textured walls, floors, additional lighting, and an Xpresso-driven turntable.
🛠️ Key Features:
Intricate textures and materials
Enhanced lighting setup
Xpresso-driven turntable for smooth rotation
⚙️ Challenges:
Due to hardware limitations, incorporating all these details in the final animation was not feasible. The additional elements made the project extremely heavy, causing significant delays and making it difficult to run the software efficiently.
Despite these challenges, I managed to create a comprehensive turntable to showcase the detailed work that went into Scrantis.
