Story: These Two officers responded to an emergency call about a child choking on candy. Upon their arrival, Officer Jason Wright immediately began administering back blows to the boy, while Officer Schroeder fetched a LifeVac device from the patrol car. Wright laid the boy on a metal utility box, and Schroeder used the LifeVac device to attempt to clear the airway blockage. After several uses of the device and more back blows from Wright, the child still couldn't breathe. He was placed back on the box, and with continued efforts using the LifeVac device, the blockage was finally dislodged, allowing the boy to breathe again. Thanks to the quick response of both officers, the family was safely reunited.
