Hello this is my first video! It’s not the best but oh well :)

“Lucky paper stars” originated in Japan and, the legend is that there was a little girl named “Hoshi” and she loved to watch the stars in the night sky. One night, many stars fell down from the sky in a shower of light. Hoshi was saddened and ran to her home. She grabbed a jar and a piece of paper, and made a star every time she saw one fall down. But, she couldn’t keep up with the stars and so, the next night she asked all the children in the village to help make stars for the stars that fell down. They made 2,000 stars that night and all put them into their own jars. The next night more stars appeared in the sky. Hoshi was happy and inspired so, she decided to call them lucky stars.

Shopping links for paper strips!

Glitter (rainbow colors): https://www.amazon.com/QTFHR-Origami-...

Glow in the dark (the one I had in the vid):
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XBHDDXK/r...

Plain (just rainbow): https://www.amazon.com/QTFHR-sheets-O...

Set (All of the above): https://www.amazon.com/Caydo-Sheets-O...

You can also just cut some paper to make strips!

I used copy & print paper but I think any kind will work (just not construction paper or like thicker paper)

A 1cm x 30cm strip makes about a 1cm -1.5 cm star
