We talked with professor Juan José Arevalillo Doval, Managing Director at Hermes Traducciones y Servicios Lingüísticos, SL, Academic Director of a post-graduation course on localization and translation-applied technology at Alfonso X el Sabio University (Madrid). Juan José is the Chairman of the Spanish Association of Translation Service Providers (ASPROSET). He and his company are members of different translation industry associations such as ATA, Asetrad, UniCo, a permanent member of the ISO/TC 37 Committee for Translation Services representing AENOR, which created the ISO-17100 Standard for Translation Services. He also participates in European Union’s main projects dealing with translation industry.
