In this video, I will be talking about who to tip in Las Vegas and how much.
1. Bell Hop – they bring your luggage to your room. Standard tipping is $1-$5 per bag, but you can tip more if they go the extra mile.
2. Casino Hosts – if you gamble a lot, you likely have a casino host.
3. Cocktail Servers/Bartenders/Bussers/Waiters – a lot of venues auto grat 15-20%, so even though these folks get their tips, they will hustle for more.
4. Front Desk – with a nice tip, the front desk staff might give you a discount on a better room or upgrade you if the hotel is not sold out.
5. Housekeeping – if you really leave the room in a mess, consider leaving a nice tip – $5-$20 will be appreciated.
6. Limo / Party Bus Drivers – keep $5-$10 handy; the drivers who bring you to the strip clubs are paid a small hourly wage but actually live off their tips.
7. Restroom Attendants – I always tip these guys; $2-$3 is good each time you go in. Some have worked in the restrooms for years.
8. Rideshare/Taxis/Shuttles – while rideshares provide an option to leave a tip and taxis allow for tipping via credit cards, with the high cost of insurance and gas.
9. Room Service – most hotel room service departments auto grat, but check your bill to make sure, and consider leaving a little extra if they did a great job.
10. Table Dealers – they get paid a nice hourly rate, but I tip $5-$20, depending on how much I’m winning, and if I’m losing, I generally don’t tip.
11. Valet – when the hotels switched over to paid valet parking, the valet staff got gypped, and now hardly anyone tips or at least not as much.
12. VIP Hosts – I am a VIP host, and I provide an exceptional experience for my customers.
