Halloween 2024: Kagero: Deception II Playthrough for Ending No. 1 (Part 1)
My big streaming project for October 2024 was doing a playthrough of Tecmo's Kagero: Deception II on the PlayStation. This is an M-rated game, so it should be advised there will be some mature themes throughout the course of the game.
I had rented this game in the past, but I would always get distracted by other games, and I ultimately never finished Kagero. This is the second installment of a "trap" series of games developed by Tecmo, in which the player cannot attack directly. As a result, they have to rely on magic abilities that let them set traps in the environment.
I decided to go for ending number one, which requires the player to not allow any intruders to escape and/or discover the main rooms of some of the environments.
It took four streaming sessions to finish the game (eight hours overall in-game time), so this YouTube series is condensed down to cut the overall runtime.
