How to Define Hydrostatic Pressure Load in Simcenter Femap
In this video, Saratech Femap Specialist, James Kubli, will show you how to set up hydrostatic loads in Simcenter Femap using data surfaces and show you how to verify that the hydrostatic load has been applied correctly.
Steps:
1. Create a new data surface.
2. Enter the coordinates of two points on the cylinder.
3. Enter the hydrostatic pressure at the second point.
4. Apply the hydrostatic load to the cylinder.
5. Verify that the hydrostatic load has been applied correctly.
