Save your Android's battery by disabling radio (cellular) tower searching
Warning this will affect your phones cellular service. If you use this you will not be able to connect to any cellular towers.
When an android telephone does not have a cellular signal or service it continues to attempt to find a signal. This drains a lot of battery and can be disabled. In some scenarios (like mine) I leave the phone this way, as I use alternate (free) services for my phone. This would also prove useful of you're going to be in a "dead" area for even more than an hour. This method also allows the bluetooth to remain enabled, and is the key reason for using it over "Airplane Mode" which does not. Thanks for watching!
