Västervik - We Never Went To The Sea
Västervik, Sweden. This is where I grew up. A small town with few opportunities, according to many. Is that even true? I do not know. These sequences are recorded during August and September 2015. It is empty, it is windy but it's damn good. The emptiness after the tourists have gone home, the holiday is over and the darkness are about to fade in. I wanted to capture that exact moment just to show you that the fall season is quite nice anyway. This is how beautiful late summer looks like in Sweden, Enjoy!
For best experience watch in highest resolution possible. If you have a monitor that provides you with real 4k resolution you are lucky :) All sequences except for two are shot with a camera that produce same image quality as a cinema camera for about 50 000$, and thats only for the camera body.
