STIHL CHAINSAW MILL 036
I decided to upgrade my Timberjig Chainsaw Mill to the Big Mill Basic Chainsaw Mill. The Big Mill Basic Chainsaw Sawmill uses the basic timberjig kit plus a guide rail and guide rail supports. the chainsaw mill is very easy to use and takes a lot of the guesswork out of knowing where to cut. I found setup much faster than using a board with the timberjig. I used a Stihl 036 chainsaw. The 036 is lightweight with plenty of power but not enough power to mill lumber as quick as I'd like. A Stihl 066 or Husqvarna 395 are the ideas saws for chainsaw milling in my book.
