I've been trying out Oracle Cloud's Always Free Account for quite a few weeks now, and wondered if I can host a Minecraft server on it. It turns out that I actually can. I just followed Todd Sharp's blog tutorial, though I've changed some parts of it a bit. Mainly, I've favored using Ubuntu as my VM image and Spigot as my Minecraft server. Also, I've included on how to generate an SSH keypair and how to connect to the running VM instance using Windows.
