Welcome back to the zen garden channel!🌵🌿🎍

Today we dive into the world of carnivorous plants! If you are familiar with them you also know that there are quite a few such as:

1. Venus Flytrap - Dionaea muscipula
2. Sundews - Drosera
3. Pitcher Plants - Nepenthes
4. Cobra Lily - Darlingtonia californica
5. Butterworts - Pinguicula
6. Bladderworts - Utricularia
7. Rainbow Plants - Byblis
8. Waterwheel Plant - Aldrovanda vesiculosa
9. Australian Pitcher Plant -Cephalotus follicularis
10. Sun Pitchers - Heliamphora

But I think the Venus Fly Trap is probably the most knows so we can start with that one!

These plants have evolved to trap and digest small prey as a way to supplement their nutrient requirements in poor soil conditions. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list, and there are many more species of carnivorous plants.
