KDK M40MS Wall Fan DIY Repair. Oscillating Motor Replacement with MT8-L motor.
Our 16 year old KDK wall fan's oscillating function decided to quit on us and we did a successful attempt to replace the fan's oscillating motor with part MT8-L.
This little motor that drives the turning of the whole fan had worn out after years of daily use. The stress of it can be seen with the amount of brown oil and residue leaking out from the old broken motor unit.
