Winter Camping in -19°F during a Canadian Blizzard
A Canadian road trip through Banff and Jasper National Parks in winter. Along the way, I experience blizzards, hike the snowy trails, and take in some of the most stunning mountain scenery on the continent. I also make friends with locals, with whom I share some amazing experiences and more unexpected adventures, such as climbing remote mountains in the Northern Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, namely in Stone Mountain and Muncho Lake Provincial Parks. After a soak in the Liard River Hotsprings, it was time to head home, and I took one of my new Canadian friends with me!
