This Tiny Power Supply Lets You Use a Power Hungry Video Card in Almost Any Desktop Computer
You can get a powerful used multi-CPU workstation / server for dirt cheap off eBay. While these used machines can make great compute heavy desktops, many of them ship with proprietary PSU's which won't support a flagship video card such as the Nvidia GTX 1080ti we are looking at today. Though 5.25 inch drive bay power supplies are a thing of the past, they can still be useful today. In this video I am going to attempt to use a Thermaltake Power Express 250W 5.25 inch dedicated GPU power supply to power a GTX 1080ti in my HP Z600 workstation.
