MGS4 Liquid Ocelot Vs Raiden (Metal Gear Solid Fan Animation)
Sorry for not uploading, having graduated high school I honestly expected an upload from myself celebrating my finishing of senior year. I used to upload plenty on this channel, though this message may turn into that of a reminiscing of days when hearts were full of passion, friends getting together to create something that would shoot for goals beyond our reach, that would be ineffective. If anyone truly has followed this channel and I have taken part in some journey or growth of anyone who has witnessed this channel as a part of there childhood, or utilized my works for inspiration, to that I say thank you. The action of this upload was to test my inherent ethic, to see if I still had the drive to create a catching title that may garner attention from a promo standpoint, (not just a title for the sake of the upload) as well as pay attention to writing a meaningful desc. Even now as Im writing this I can say that the meaning behind the action of me writing this is to find out if anyone would respond in the comment section, seeing that this is one of my first works in a while that I actually tried to get back into the swing of things and animate awesome content. Not that I would stop if that was the case, however it does beg the question as to why I would be curious of said theoretical response.
ANYWAYS LIQUID OCELOT VS RAIDEN (liquid because while he does use revolvers in this video, liquid ocelot makes more sense due to both the events of mgs4, and liquids ability to switch between liquid and revolver fighting styles. Also I find the idea of translating mgs characters into mgr style very cool, to which a boss that utilizes long range attacks with superhuman accuracy would fit well enough to be a boss in mgr.)
ALSO TO ANYONE WHO SAYS OCELOT WOULD NEVER STAND A CHANCE AGAINST RAIDEN:
Raidens feats in mgr such as lifting a metal gear and catching up to trains are not viable feats for combat due to the fact that they are specialized feats for specific situations. Raiden being able to lift a metal gear was due to the energy build up and leverage (similar to spidermans ability to lift heavy objects) For example raiden stopped outer haven, yet lost to vamp due to his reaction time and cqc combat, and only beat a nerfed vamp by surprise after vamp was defeated by solid snake. Its not viable to to utilize raidens ability to lift a metal gear for power scaling due to the fact that despite solidus being able to take down multiple metal gear reys, he still loses to a pre cyborg Raiden. (this also goes to show that cyborg raiden isnt that much more stronger than pre cyborg raiden in terms of combat) Second Raiden being able to catch up to trains took time for him to accelerate using ninja run, so hes not quicksilver whos able accelerate fast THAN reach high speeds.(zandatsu in mgr is explained that its just the ability to gain more power through electrolights, the slowing down of enemys just represents cutting speed, which is why he wasnt sure if he could make it in time to save george in mgr) Raiden does however have high durability, surviving outer haven, and armstrongs beatdown. However raiden has been shown to be injured in mgs and mgr when struck in certain areas.
Revolver Ocelot has been shown to have reflexes fast enough to react to literal lightning, shooting volgans electric blasts in mgs3, which is comparable to raidens fastest feat being able to deflect automatic fire in mgr. (again zandatsu is the act of raiden taking electrolights from enemys, not the game mechanic of cutting enemys. Thats blade mode which serves purely as a mechanic to do zandatsu. The destruction of metal gear exelsius however is finished off in blade mode using a building sized sword, however this would be due to his ability to accelerate his speed given enough build up) Liquid beat old snake in cqc, who again was able to fight and win against vamp.
Vamp losing to Raiden, and solidus losing to pre cyborg raiden (who could not lift a metal gear) is evident that reaction time is key in power scaling for mgs characters, as opposed to bringing up impressive feats without knowing how those feats came to be in the first place.
And if your still not convinced just give ocelot cyborg enhancements, even though jetstream sam BARELY HAD ANY. WHO CARES ITS COOL!
ps: Yes a hf blade would easily cut through revolvers, who cares the revolvers are made out of a metal that are HF blade resistant in this case.
