My only certainty is: our grief
in search for redemption.
Crossing a bridge in the night,
I swallow the thirst in my heart
and bury my hands in my pockets,
as I'm
grief-stricken.
Under thunderous skies you approach,
and then deliberately
pretend not to see them crying.
My only certainty is:
the pyramids will still be there.
But who will believe in their wisdom?
As we're all grief-stricken.

Although nothing will be as before,
I can imagine a way for us to move on
together.
Beyond the loss and the tears,
and the life we knew that disappeared,
our love without wounds
will help us overcome
these grief-stricken years.
