A few times a year, I travel out of town to photograph destination weddings. When I first met Lauren and Aaron, I was excited to pick up shop and head to PIttsburgh, somewhere I've never visited, for their special day. I hit the road with my team --Dave Phillipich and Dawn Deeks — and even made a movie on the road. The next morning we had an early start. First stop on the agenda was Lauren's family friends' gorgeous home, where we met up with "Lauren's Eleven" (her bridesmaids) and took some getting ready shots. Then we headed all around the city aboard a trolley bus with the wedding party. We got back just in time for the cocktail hour under The Pennsylvanian's rotunda, which was truly breathtaking. The reception was a blast -- catering by Rania was delicious, and the band, Cityscape, was rockin'. I had a great time exploring the city with Lauren and Aaron, and thanks to their parents and friends for making us Washingtonians feel at home.
