Surah Al Mudassir Ayat 38 to 47 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained.
ہر شخص اپنے کرتوتوں کے بدلے گرفتار ہو گا مگر داہنی طرف والے (نیک لوگ) جنتوں میں ہوں گےاور پوچھتے ہوں گے (یعنی آگ میں جلنے والے) گنہگاروں سے کہ تم دوزخ میں کیوں پڑے؟ وہ جواب دیں گے کہ ہم نمازیوں میں شامل نہ ہوئے اور نہ ہم فقیروں کو کھانا کھلاتے تھے اور اہل باطل کے ساتھ مل کر (حق سے) انکار کرتے تھے اور روز جزا کو جھٹلاتے تھے یہاں تک کہ ہمیں موت آگئ.
Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained
[Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other.
[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?"
About the criminals,
They will say, "We were not of those who prayed,
Nor did we used to feed the poor.
And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it],
And we used to deny the Day of Recompense.
Until there came to us the certainty."
