First Time Riding Tackless!
Location: North Shore Riding Club
First time riding tackless - no bridle, no saddle! Started off with bridle and saddle & neck rope. I would then ask her to turn left and right with both neck rope & rein in my hand. Once responding (neck reining), I took off the bridle- so bridleless & with saddle. Then we she could comfortably turn left & right i took the saddle off and this was the result! It took her about 15 minutes to do it. :)
Still to canter her... and do it over jumps tackless! Stayed tuned :)
What you might like to know: Lila is my 15.2hh Clyde x TB mare, who I've produced myself. She was broken in by myself & my dad as a 3 year old.
