Connect external hard drive to Android smartphone
If you need more storage space or want to back up important data, such as vacation photos, from your smartphone to an external hard drive, you'll need suitable cables or adapters. We'll show you a relatively inexpensive method using adapters from Anker. Since there are simply too many device/adapter combinations, we can't guarantee that this will work with all devices. In the video, we're using a Seagate Expansion Portable 1TB, the Anker USB-C to USB adapter, and a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T.
