NCAA football: Penn State vs. Maryland- September 7, 1985 (most of the 1st quarter)
Here is a classic clip of college football featuring future Big Ten conference rivals playing in College Park, Maryland, courtesy of the syndicated Jefferson Pilot Sports broadcasting service. Please check out Steel Buck 6's video for other portions of this same game, including the kickoff and closing. Unfortunately, this tape was worn so pardon the sound and dropout issues. Also features some commercials including ads for United Bedrooms, Jefferson Standard, Wachovia, Pilot Life, Homelite chainsaws, Gillette Atra Plus, the Redskins/Cowboys game on WMAL AM 63 radio, and a promo for Let's Make A Deal.
