Video Simulation Testing (Proposed Light Pole with Small Cell)
One of the primary services I provide these days is creating photo simulations for cellular carriers. This involves creating 3D models of the proposed structures and then integrating them into real world photos at 1:1 scale. These deliverables are for jurisdictions and/or property owners to sell them on the look and give them something tangible that construction drawings (blueprints) don't quite provide.
Sometimes there are "high visibility" locations that are difficult to get permitted for various reasons. I'd like to start offering video simulations for such instances, especially to try winning over certain jurisdictions and theme park installations. This is some testing I'm doing for that.
3D camera tracking over a 2D video can be a bit tricky. It's interesting to work with though. For fun, I added in a rigid body physics model for the sign destruction. 😃
