BMW E34 Wagon Autocross
I have been working on the transmission on the LS1 e34 wagon…and i finally think it’s shifting like i wanted
Along with the trans mechanicals, i have also been tuning the trans to shift when i want and not shift when i dont want
For autocross, i have the trans holding 2nd gear through the course and not downshifting to 1st…since i am running 4.10:1 final drive gearing this works well
The biggest change was a high stall converter. 3200rpm. It puts the engine in the power band from takeoff.
